A downloadable .wad

A Boom-compatible map for Doom 2 that makes use of UMAPINFO and DEHEXTRA (Extended Dehacked). This map is made specifically with PrBoom+ 2.6um in mind.

There is very little story, you survived the crash of your spacecraft and blew a hole into some kind of logistics facility on Earth. Now you have to find your way out of the local area that includes said facility, the nearby security station, and a warehouse.

Features (as of V1.3):

-Zombiemen replaced with these beefier Techno-troopers, they also turn almost-invisible.

-Barons of Hell are now Cyberbarons, and they have 900 health and fire a revenant missile before throwing their baron ball.

-Wolfenstein SS are replaced with "Plasmaguards"- similar to the Evil Marines from Scythe 2.

-MBF helper dogs are replaced with Hellhounds (zombie dogs!)

-Hanging Keens replaced with Power Cores- they still have the same function.

-Many office props and green foliage.

-Interactable vending machines.

-Fusion aesthetic of mundane office, sci-fi techbase, and Mayan Revival (actually kinda like Deckard's apartment in Blade Runner)

This map was made back in July and August of 2021, I had mapper's block in regards to this other Boom-compatible map I was making for the Decino contest, but I also had laptop problems at the time and thus was never able to submit it. I was burnt out from this overgrown abandoned mine and decided to make a different map with a fresher theme before Summer Vacation was over. This is that map.

Install instructions

You can drag the .wad file to the sourceport or load it through a loader program such as ZDL.
